Collecting donations in Harlan County, Kentucky

Two people are collecting for the striking families. One sign reads "Striking Families Need Money Please Donate."  During the thirteen month strike by the miners in Harland County, which is remembered for the coal operators' violent suppression of union organizing, miners' families and community organizations as well as the union were deeply involved.
